Our packaging products only degrade under composting conditions. You can use them like traditional plastic. Then, dispose of to safely decompose in composting facilities with heat, moisture, and microbial activity.

Murth’s bioplastic packaging is CPCB-approved and meets Indian compostability standards (IS/ISO 17088). This means all our products follow the Plastic Waste Management (PWM) Rules of 2016 and later amendments (2021 & 2022). Our pharmaceutical packaging also meets Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.

Our bioplastic pharma packaging is designed to have neutral chemistry. They do not interact with drugs or alter their properties under normal storage.

Murth’s pharmaceutical packaging materials maintain barrier integrity through storage. We test our products to retain sterilization under different conditions and during long-term storage.

Our compostable pharma packaging materials can remain stable for up to 12 months before use. It is best stored in cool, dry conditions for a long shelf life.

You can custom print our bioplastic pharma packaging with batch labels, color coding, and tamper-proof markings. We use sustainable inks and digital printing technologies on compostable films. These inks also break down with the bag under composting conditions.

Murth offers different standard size bags and packaging films. For instance, our compostable biohazard waste bags come in sizes from 1.18″ × 1.97″ up to 31.5″ × 39.37″. You also have the options for zipper, pull-tab, or non-toxic adhesive closures. Other examples include: 

• Mailing bags: 6″ × 9″, 8″ × 10″, or 10″ × 13″
• Larger biohazard liners: 16″ × 17″ or 33″ × 39″ for safe medical disposal

Our biohazard bags are safe to dispose of any infectious or hazardous materials. We specially test for tear resistance and leakage to avoid any outbreaks. You can dispose of biohazard and clinical waste safely without compromising medical waste safety.

Yes, they degrade fully into safe components under proper composting conditions in under three months. They do not leave any microplastics behind, unlike regular packaging made from fossil fuels.

Our focus is compostability. We use bioplastic that does not need to be recycled. This reduces the cost and effort required for recycling.
